Since I can remember, the idea of a narrator-type presence behind the biggest moments in sports was thrilling to me. During my junior year of high school, I decided to try my hand at it. Since that day when I sat in the bleachers and very nervously injected my voice unto New Jersey high school basketball, I've been striving to improve my on-air ability, learning to be a storyteller and a steersman of whatever moments may be unraveling during every single broadcast.
In college, I received numerous incredible opportunities to help expand my horizons and challenge myself to become sharper and sharper each broadcast. As a freshman, I got the chance to call games for the Delaware Blue Coats of the NBA G League. I've continued to be a part of their broadcasts throughout my collegiate career. I've also been fortunate enough to broadcast High-A Affiliated baseball for the past 4 summers. Beyond those two pillars of my career thus far, every freelance opportunity that has come my way has been equally as beneficial in taking my voice and presence on a broadcast to new heights.
The legendary radio voice of the Philadelphia Eagles, Merrill Reese, once said, "You never know when someone is listening to you for the first time". I try my best to live by that statement each time I'm in the booth. My goal is to get to a point where I can be the backdrop to great sports moments that people watching or listening will cherish forever, just like I did growing up, and continue to each and every day.
